Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about Denise Benson Photography:
- I am a portrait photographer specializing in family, branding, high school senior, engagement, bridal and elopement photography. I do not do newborn, event or traditional wedding photography, however I am open to discussing intimate wedding ceremonies. I do not work in a studio, therefore all of my shoots are on location. If I am traveling outside of a 30 mile radius of Rock Hill, SC there is an additional mileage charge. I have a few go to sites in my area, but am always open to suggestions from my clients on new and interesting locations.
- A typical session takes about an hour. Unless there is a large group involved this should be more than enough time to capture what we need. I do allow for one wardrobe change during a one hour session. Anything more than that typically becomes too time consuming and takes away from your time in front of the camera.
- Session fees begin at $199. A non-refundable retainer along with a signed contract is required in advance to hold your date. The remaining balance is due the date of your shoot. Included in your fee is a USB of edited images (including a print release form). Print prices are available upon request.
- After our session has ended I will edit your photos and email you the link to your proofs (within 2 weeks of standard portrait your session). After viewing your proofs and deciding on which photos you’d like I will deliver a copy of your USB, along with anything else you may have ordered (albums, prints, etc).
- Mini Sessions are limited. I understand a full portrait session may be too much for some clients so I like to offer mini sessions once a year. There is no set time on when these will occur so to get first dibs on signing up (limited spaces available) make sure you’re signed up for my newsletter, blog or follow my social media accounts.
- I like for all of my sessions to be laid back and fun. I try not to put any pressure on my clients. Being in front of the camera can be scary enough so I try to keep things as casual as possible. You will receive a portrait welcome packet outlining my process and some tips to make things as easy as possible for you. Although I do some posed shots, I prefer natural reactions. I love it when my clients bring new ideas to the table so feel free to bring along any props or ideas you’d like to try out. This session is about you and I want each and every photo to convey your spirit.
- I offer gift certificates! Shopping for someone and unsure of what they’ll like? Why not give them a photography session on you in the form of a gift certificate! Whether you want to contribute to a portion of their session or you want to pay for the entire thing, all options are available to you. Contact me about how you can get your gift card today!
