The Hall Family | York, SC Photography

 

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the Hall family at their home in York, SC.  Anytime I get the opportunity to do a lifestyle session that takes place in my client’s home I get a little excited.  For one, the scenery is different and it’s unique to just their session, but also I know that my clients are immediately at ease.  Being put on the spot in front of the camera doesn’t come naturally to most people so anytime I can come into their comfort zone it helps.  Another reason the session taking place in their home worked out so well is it that we had an unexpected rainstorm that morning so we didn’t have to worry about rescheduling their session for another day.

 

I started their session with the three daughters, the two youngest showing off their rooms along with some of their favorite things to do like reading and playing with their Doc McStuffins toys.  After finishing with these ladies we all moved to the living room and added mom and dad to the mix for some fun family photos.

 

 

After changing into their second looks, something more casual and fun we headed outside to get some group shots on their front porch.  I ventured into the rain (thank goodness for camera rain covers!) and had some fun in their casual looks.  From head to toe their looks were coordinated and I could tell they really enjoyed being around one another and just having a good time.

Being around genuinely good people truly warms my heart.  And when those people are family and treat each other just as well it makes my job so much more enjoyable.  Mom Willetta wanted to update her home with family portraits and I hope she will look back on these photos with a big smile every time she passes them hanging in her home.
