Life celebration sessions (also known as birthday shoots in my world) are a favorite of mine.  Want to know what else is a favorite of mine?  Shooting in NoDa!  It’s the eclectic, artistic and quaint part of uptown Charlotte (officially named North Davidson based on it’s location) and I never pass up an opportunity to shoot there.  So when Caylen suggested shooting her life celebration session there I knew were going to create some magic!  And boy she did not disappoint!

Her entire vibe, from the way her wardrobe colors popped against the colorful backdrops NoDa has to offer to the way she effortlessly worked it in front of the camera I knew this shoot would become one of my all time favorites.  I love it when my clients come to their sessions completely put together from head to toe and they know the exact vision that they want to convey.  Not only does it make my job so much easier but then it allows me to help them see their overall vision come to life.  Caylen has such a sweet demeanor about her and I could just tell in our short time together that she has a very bright future in front of her.  But I wouldn’t expect anything less from my Soror (you know us Alpha women are always achieving and reaching for higher heights)!  I’m so grateful that she allowed me to celebrate 21 one with her in such a fun and unique way and look forward to working with her again in the future.
